CargIT (Pty) Ltd ("CargIT", "we", "us") respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and the rights you have.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
4. Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run the website and handle email (for example our web host and email provider), and with suppliers where needed to fulfil your quotation, and only under appropriate confidentiality terms. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Some providers may store data outside South Africa. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to make sure the recipient protects your information to a standard comparable to POPIA.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a sale are kept for up to 12 months. Information linked to a quotation, order or invoice is kept for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax records. After that it is deleted or de-identified.
6. How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS on this website, access limited to staff who need it, and spam protection on our forms. No system is completely secure, and if a breach affects you we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
